Missouri Humane Organizations:

Humane Society of Missouri- We provide a safe and caring haven to all animals in need - large and small - that have been abused, neglected or abandoned. Our mission is to end the cycle of abuse and pet overpopulation through our rescue and investigation efforts, spay/neuter programs and educational classes. We are committed to creating lasting relationships between people and animals through our adoption programs. Mid-Missouri Humane Society- Mid-Missouri Humane Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals. The Society operates an animal shelter and coordinates an animal adoption program which strongly encourages pet population control.

The Humane Society of St. Joseph Missouri- The Humane Society of St. Joseph and Buchanan County Missouri, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting the community in providing a better quality of life for animals through financial aid, education and advocacy. Our main objectives are to provide financial assistance for the companion animals of low-income guardians and to educate the community about animals.

The National Humane Education Society- The National Humane Education Society provides humane education, rescue and relief assistance for animals, as well as screened adoption services. Through the Humane Education Department, we provide educational presentations to all ages and information services to members as well as to the general public.
